During my interrogation a man standing behind me held a gun to my back and someone in the room said kill her, my relations and acquaintances are here there for I cant tell you everything they did to me
On 3 January 2012, Roza Tuletaeva was arrested by members of the Kazakh State Security Committee at her home. In detention she was tortured, and later brought to trial for two separate criminal cases related to her work as a leader of the oil workers’ strike committee at the OzenMunaiGaz oil company. Security forces have violently repressed the striking workers.
