Lauristely Peña Solano

Lauristely Peña Solano is a woman human rights defender who works in the arts and culture. She is also a Dominican writer, cultural manager and teacher, co-founder of Proyecto Anticanon, a cultural organisation that focuses its efforts on visibility, justice and equity for women writers, while developing community work from art and culture, through workshops, art exhibitions, theater, storytelling that seek to raise awareness on issues of non-violence, gender equality, Afro identity and human rights.
