Farhad Shamo Roto

Farhad Shamo Roto is an Ezidi Genocide survivor and human rights defender. He is the Founder and President of Voice of Ezidis – VOE. VOE is an organisation that seeks to end discrimination against Ezidis and advocate for their fundamental human rights, by spreading awareness of the genocide they endured in 2014, integration of refugees, family reunification, and genocide recognition. Farhad is also a PhD scholar on Genocide Studies and currently researching issues related to refugees and migration.
