Said Boudour
Said Boudour is a journalist, human rights defender and member of the Algerian League for Human Rights, known for his covering the dangerous issue of migrant rights in Algeria. In 2018 he was detained by plainclothes officers and interrogated about his human rights work, including his coverage of a corruption scandal and other activism. Boudour has investigated the mass detentions, abuse and deportations of hundreds of migrants from sub-Suharan Africa, and reported on the issue for French and Arabic print and radio broadcast. In addition to being detained and questioned in 2018, his family has been threatened at their home.
