Jewish Voice for Peace

The Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) is a human rights organisation, founded in 1996 by the students of UC Berkeley, in California. The organisation has been denouncing the human rights violations against the Palestinian people, providing a critical perspective towards Zionism and calling Jews into solidarity with the liberation of Palestine. Along other human rights groups, the JVP has given visibility to the human rights violations currently taking place in Palestine, led peaceful protests denouncing them and demanding a ceasefire, and supporting pro-Palestine student encampments around the United States.
