Mansour Mohammed Atti Al-Maghrabi detained in General Command’s prison
On 5 August, a commander in the 302 Brigade of the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, confirmed that Mansour Mohammed Atti Al-Maghrabi is currently detained in one of the General Command’s prisons. The human rights defender's whereabouts were unknown since he was kidnapped by unknown individuals on 3 June.
Mansour Mohamed Atti Al-Maghrabi, is a human rights defender, journalist, blogger and head of the Red Crescent Committee and of the Civil Society Commission in Ajdabiya. He is also a producer of “Shatt al-Hurriya”, a comedy and satiric television series about everyday life in Libya.
