Angelo Kapwatcha

Angelo Kapwatcha is a human rights defender from Angola who has worked with civil society organisations since 1998, with a focus on the right to education. Angelo has championed human rights through his work as a teacher and employee of Humana People to People Angola, Coordinator of ADRA-Angola's ‘Right to Education Programme’ and National Coordinator of Intermón-Oxfam's ‘Right to Education Programme’.

He is currently working as the Executive Director of FORDU-Angola. Angelo is an active member of the National Teachers' Union of Angola (SINPROF) and a founder and member of more than 7 human rights NGOs. He is also a member of the GTMDH-Technical Group for Monitoring Human Rights in Angola and the Plataforma Sul.
