On 30 June 2020, the Supreme Court of Thailand upheld the Appeals Court’s acquittal of human rights defender Andy Hall, on criminal defamation and computer crimes charges brought against him in 2013 by Natural Fruit Co Ltd.
On 31 May, Thailand’s Appeals Court ruled in favour of Andy Hall, a human rights defender who works on migration policy issues in Thailand and Myanmar. He was dismissed of criminal defamation charges, which had been filed against him by Natural Fruit Company Ltd.
