Sarah de Roure - Head of Protection

Sarah is the head of the Protection team at Front Line Defenders. She is responsible for the organisation's global strategy on HRD protection in countries and regions. Together with the Protection Managers, she leads on delivering timely and appropriate protection responses to human rights defenders at risk, ensuring holistic and effective protection support.

From Brasília (Brazil) but now based in Dublin, Sarah holds a degree in History and a Master's in International Development and Cooperation. Sarah has collaborated for almost 20 years with local and international organisations, social movements and networks, both as a professional and as an activist.
