Margot Jones - Advocacy Officer

In her role as Advocacy Officer, Margot supports human rights defenders at risk through targeted advocacy at the national, regional and international level, including with the European Union and the United Nations.

Margot leads thematically on advocacy support for women human rights defenders, and covers FLD's advocacy for the MENA, Africa and South Asia regions.

Prior to joining FLD, she spent three years working at the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) in Brussels, where she advocated to make the EU a more active and effective actor for peacebuilding and conflict prevention, and led the team's workstream on gender equality and gender, peace and security. She holds Masters in International Security from Sciences Po in Paris.
