Julia Lima

Julia Lima is Protection Coordinator for the Americas at Front Line Defenders, with a particular focus on South America. Her background is in social communication and she has been working for the defense of freedom of expression, access to information and the protection of human rights defenders for ten years in international organizations such as Article 19 and the Urgent Action Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean. She has been working for the strengthening of protection perspectives focused on care and collective protection from traditional peoples and communities and women defenders in Latin America.
