Jin-geol Anh is a human rights defender working with the Citizen’s Network for General Election of 2016 (Change 2016). He is also the co-Secretary General of the People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy (PSPD).
South Korea has a generally vibrant and strong civil society, yet concerns persist about undue restrictions placed on the legitimate right to freely associate of certain groups of defenders, in particular those working for labour rights and for the rights of migrant workers.
