Inoussa Ouédraogo

Inoussa Ouédraogo is a human rights defender, journalist and publishing director of the Bendré newspaper. He is also President of the ‘Société des Editeurs de la Presse Privée du Burkina Faso’ (the Society of Editors of the Private Press of Burkina Faso) and a member of the steering committee of the ‘Centre National de presse Norbert Zongo’ (National Centre of the Press Nobet Zongo), Burkina Faso's press house. Moreover, he is the spokesman for the Front pour la Défense de la République (FDR), a Burkinabè civil society movement working tirelessly for a return to the rule of law, democracy, freedom of the press and expression, and respect for human rights.
