Ali Al Muqbali

Ali Al Muqbali is human rights defender, who participated in the Omani Spring protests 2011 in Oman that demanded justice and the fight against corruption. As a result of his human rights activism, the human rights defender faced numerous violations and harassment, including arrest, prosecution, and confiscation of his passport. Ali has gone on hunger strike several times, including once for 18 days in 2015.
