Extinction Rebellion

Extinction Rebellion is a decentralised, international and politically non-partisan network, founded in 2018 to address the Climate and Nature Emergency. Members use campaigns, non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to compel governments to act justly on the climate emergency, and to reverse the course that is leading the planet towards ecological disaster. The movement’s three central requests are for governments to ‘tell the truth’, ‘act now’, and to enable ‘deciding together’.
