Coalition of Somali Human Rights Defenders
CSHRD
The Coalition of Somali Human Rights Defenders CSHRD is a national coalition of HRDs that works on the safety/protection of HRDs in Somalia & has been in United Nations ECOSOC Special Conservative Status since august 2023.
CSHRD was established in 2014 and officially registered in 2018, and its establishment came as a matter of protection and networking necessity for HRDs in Somalia at national level.
It is mission is to imrpove human rights protection in Somalia through the protection of the defenders of human rights HRDs
