Russian Federation: NGO GOLOS fined under the 'Foreign Agent' Lawposted on: 2013/04/25

On 25 April 2013, the Russian election watchdog GOLOS Association for the defence of the rights of voters became the first NGO to be fined under the controversial 'Foreign Agents' Law. The decision was taken by the Presnensky Court of Moscow.

The trial started today at 10.00 and lasted till 17.30, the interrogation of Ales by both sides is finished and tomorrow they will interrogate the witnesses.

Ales is doing well, he is smiling and he was really happy to see all his friends in the courtroom.
